Within months, FIST had signed a worldwide recording contract with A&M Records which resulted in a world wide release of their second album Hot Spikes in 1980. 1981 • Fleet Street Fleet Street Canada and Thunder In Rock United States and Europe are the same album with different covers for each country. This was the band’s third album. Produced and engineered by Steve Vaughn, the album received worldwide airplay in 1981 that sales sustained a constant Top-10 status. This resulted in Fist going out on major concert tours with the very first “Monsters of Rock” which was comprised of Motorhead, Krokus and Molly Hatchet. Returning for headline and support dates in the United States, FIST also did their own headlining tours in Canada. Fist’s fourth album, In the Red, was engineered and produced by world renowned producer Nick Blagona. Blagona produced numerous projects with artists such as Deep Purple, Rush, etc. In the Red was released worldwide in February of 1983. FIST’s fifth album, Danger Zone, was engineered by Peter Burns and produced by Ron Chenier. This album was released in Canada, United States and Europe. After a six year sabbatical Fist recorded their sixth album titled Reign of Terror. Recorded in Ottawa, engineered and produced by Ron Chenier and Steve Turner, Reign of Terror was distributed world wide on Magada Int’l.
