Ron CHENIER is one of the World Class Canadian Rock Veterans and Music Successors who has a lot to be credited for due to contributions to the Canadian Rock music scene. Ron’s band FIST has released----- recordings since the successful FLEETSTREET / Thunder In Rock album in 1981. He has been in the music business and Owned and Operated his own recording studio(s) for most of his life. He has always continued to produce a vast assortment of original artists that sought out his expertise for their projects while also still writing, recording and touring with FIST.
Ron Chenier met up with singer songwriter Constance White at a recording session with the Matt Minglewood band. Constance was recording some new original songs and after the session Ron and Constance collaborated on the Fist album Loud Loud Loud. Constance had many years of experience in singing hard rock and this was an asset when writing lyrics. Ron found out that lyrics come easy for Constance as well as music came easy to Ron.
In March 2009 Ron had compiled many song Idea’s but no lyrics so Ron asked Constance for lyrics and she wrote lyrics for 17 songs in three weeks that’s unheard of and on the fourth week they recorded all of them. This went so well they ended up recording a total of 37 songs to date all recorded in less than 4 months.
Ron Chenier and Constance White are a very powerful song writing team and with these diverse songs they formed a band called.
The WHITE / CHENIER Project.
